Come enjoy the fun process of collage! Teen artists will get to learn about the different types of collage art and use that knowledge to create their own artworks. Projects will make the teens push the limits of their imaginations and have fun while creating! Projects will entail Decoupage, Photomontage, Zine-making, and more.

All levels welcome! Instruction provided to meet each student’s interests, needs, and strengths.

Dive into the world of sculpture this summer! Teen artists will get to use their hands to create three dimensional art using mediums such as clay, paper mache, wire, and more to make artwork that pushes their imaginations.

Teen artists will get to expand their love of drawing by diving into projects using a variety of mediums! While exploring ways that drawing can reflect individual voices, the artists will get to use their skills of observation and mark-making to create. Mediums will include charcoal, pencil, oil pastel, and color pencils, with the student’s choice in subject.

  • Week 8: July 28th - August 1st

Teen artists will get to jump into the world of painting, learning to build their piece from start to finish! Mediums will include acrylics, watercolors, and ink, with the student’s choice in subject. Subject area will be artist’s pick, with theme guidance from the Teaching Aritst.

Come learn how to embroider with us! Students will begin this intensive by learning the different stitches with hands-on guidance from the Teaching Artist. The remaining time will entail each student to pick a personal project(s) to work on using their imagination and creativity. From flowers to animals to characters, there is so much to pick from!

Come enjoy the fun processes of printmaking! Teen artists will get to explore the different types of printmaking - including monoprinting, block printing, and screen printing.
